Using the Noorani Qaida and Noor Al-Bayan, students learn every letter, the short and long vowels, sukoon and shaddah, and how letters join, so they can open the mushaf and read on their own.

Online Quran memorization (hifz) classes

Our online Quran memorization classes are one to one, 30 minutes long, with a certified teacher who builds a plan around your age and your time. Children and adults memorize with correct tajweed from the first verse, and revise in a steady cycle so nothing is lost.

How a memorization lesson works

Every lesson has three parts:

  1. New portion (sabaq)

You recite today's new verses to your teacher, who corrects your tajweed as you go, so no mistake gets memorized.

  2. Recent revision (sabqi)

You revise what you memorized over the last few days, while it is still settling.

  3. Older revision (manzil)

You revise older portions in a cycle, so what you memorized months ago stays strong.

How long does it take to memorize the Quran?

Memorizing the whole Quran (604 pages in the Madinah mushaf) takes about 2⅓ years at one new page a day, five days a week. At 10 lines a day it takes about 3½ years, and at two pages a day about 14 months. Revision weeks add to that, so plan for a little longer.
